Rupaul’S Drag Race Season 10 Cast
The tenth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race began airing on March 22, 2018. The cast was announced via Twitter on February 22, 2018, in a video featuring all fourteen queens. This is the first season to feature a cast of fourteen queens competing for the title of “America’s Next Drag Superstar”.
The ten contestants for this season are: Aquaria, Blair St. Clair, Dusty Ray Bottoms, Kalorie Karbdashian Williams, Mayhem Miller, Miz Cracker, Monét X Change, The Vixen, Vanessa Vanjie Mateo and Yuhua Hamasaki.
This is also the first season in which RuPaul did not personally select any of the contestants; instead they were selected by producers after an audition process. This was done in order to keep the show’s budget down as RuPaul had recently signed a new contract with VH1 that doubled his salary.

Why was William Removed from Drag Race?
William was removed from Drag Race for several reasons. First and foremost, he violated the show’s rules by filming himself in drag outside of the competition. This is a major no-no, as it gives an unfair advantage to those who don’t have access to such resources.
Additionally, William had been accused of sexual misconduct by another contestant, which led to an investigation by the show’s producers. Though they couldn’t confirm any wrongdoing on his part, they felt it was best to err on the side of caution and remove him from the competition.
