The fourth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race began airing on January 30, 2012. The cast was announced on December 6, 2011, and featured fourteen new queens competing for the title of “America’s Next Drag Superstar”.
The season four premiere debuted to a total viewership of 1.3 million, making it the most-watched episode in the series’ history.
The finale aired on April 23, 2012 and was watched by 1.6 million viewers. It was also the most-watched cable program among adults 18–49 that night.

Rupaul’S Drag Race Season 3 Cast
The third season of RuPaul’s Drag Race began airing on January 24, 2011. The season was announced in a casting call in March 2010, which included the information that one contestant would be eliminated each week and that prize money for the winner had increased to $100,000. Thirteen drag queens competed for the title of “America’s Next Drag Superstar”, including Raja, who placed second on the first season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.
The cast was revealed via press release on December 6, 2010. It was later announced that Alexis Mateo would compete as a wild card queen in episode four, after she placed third on All Stars. On January 18, 2011 it was announced that Season 3 would feature a change in how contestants are eliminated.
In previous seasons, two contestants lip-synced for their lives each week with the losing contestant being sent home immediately. For Season 3 however, only the bottom two will lip-sync and the loser will be asked to “sashay away” at the end of each main challenge.

Alexandra Buggs is a self-proclaimed “nerdy girl next door” who loves to sing and rap.
She also has a passion for fashion and design. Bimini Bon Boulash is a non-binary drag queen known for their unique style and amazing makeup skills. They have been embraced by the queer community for their openness about their gender identity.
Blu Hydrangea is a Northern Irish drag queen who is known for her out-of-the-box looks and sickening dance moves. She always strives to push boundaries with her artistry. Cherry Valentine is a sweetheart from Essex who loves to make people laugh.
Her bubbly personality and infectious smile are sure to win over the judges (and viewers at home!) Ellie Diamond is a Scottish drag queen with a love of all things glamourous. She always puts on an incredible show, complete with stunning costumes and mind-blowing choreography.
Gothy Kendoll is a gothic queen whose dark aesthetic sets her apart from the other contestants. She often incorporates elements of horror into her looks, which are always executed flawlessly.
Rupaul’S Drag Race Season 5 Winner
It’s official, the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 5 is Jinkx Monsoon!
Jinkx, whose real name is Jerick Hoffer, won the title after a fierce competition that saw 14 other drag queens vying for the crown.
This marks the first time in the history of the show that a contestant has won with a unanimous vote from the judges.
Jinkx is known for her comedic timing and her ability to sing live while in drag. She wowed the judges and audience alike with her performances throughout the season. In addition to winning Drag Race, Jinkx also won two other competitions during the season – Snatch Game and Lip Sync For Your Life.
We congratulate Jinkx on her well-deserved victory and we can’t wait to see what she does next!
Drag Race Season 4 Winner
Today, we’re taking a look at the Drag Race Season 4 winner. This season was full of twists and turns, and ultimately, it came down to a battle between two frontrunners. In the end, the judges crowned Jinkx Monsoon as the winner of Drag Race Season 4.
Jinkx Monsoon is a drag queen from Seattle, Washington. She’s known for her quirky sense of humor and her unique style. Throughout the course of Drag Race Season 4, Jinkx proved that she was a force to be reckoned with.
She won several challenges and quickly established herself as one of the top contenders. In the final challenge, Jinkx faced off against fellow contestant Detox Icunt. The two queens had to lip synch for their lives in order to stay in the competition.
It was a close call, but ultimately Jinkx won out and was crowned as the winner of Drag Race Season 4. Since winning Drag Race, Jinkx has gone on to have a successful career in drag. She’s performed all over the world and released her own album called “The Inevitable Album” in 2016.
She continues to wow audiences with her talent and charisma – proving that she deserved to win Drag Race all those years ago!
Who Won Season 4 of Rupaul’S Drag Race All Stars
In the season finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, it was a close race between Manila Luzon and Latrice Royale. In the end, Manila Luzon was crowned the winner! This is her second win, as she also won season 3 of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
She is the first queen to ever win two seasons of Drag Race. Congratulations, Manila Luzon!

In 2011, Sharon Needles released her debut album Taxidermy.
The album peaked at number two on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart and number one hundred and thirty-five on the Billboard 200. Merle Ginsberg, one of the original judges on RuPaul’s Drag Race, left the show after just two seasons. Reportedly, Ginsberg had creative differences with the producers and felt that she was not being used to her full potential. She has since gone on to work as a writer and producer on other shows, including The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
